After the passing of time I will begin with what this heart knows best: God is good, always. For that I say thank you.
1967. Strong arms to hold me tight.
1968. Fresh air, a beautiful breeze.
1969. Abounding love of a husband.
1970. Having my boots knocked off.
1971. Again & again Grace.
1972. A lunch with Man of the woods, an insightful guy.
1973. A bike ride.
1974. The gift of prayer.
1975. A friendship growing out of our common darkness; bipolar.
1976. A friendly note, or ramblings depending who you ask, just to see how I am.
1977. 7 minutes a day where the world is drowned out by the fan, I'm left with only my thoughts.
1978. Play dates.
1979. Friends who allow my children to be imperfect humans.
1980. Music for the soul-quiet, soothing, & restful.
1981. People who take the time to invest in me.
1982. One car.
1983. Pancakes and bacon for dinner.
1984. Strawberry cupcakes with blue frosting mustaches.
And now the fingers are relaxed just as the heart is beginning to soften.
1985. The peace that comes with a thankful heart.
Bless the LORD, you His angels, mighty in strength, who preform His word, obeying the voice of His word! Bless the LORD, all you His hosts, you who serve Him, doing His will. Bless the LORD, all you works of His, in all places of His dominion; bless the LORD, O my soul!
~ Psalm 103:20-23
